Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of compliance and operations risk controls within the Futures & Options business line
  • Identify and assess potential risks in trading, clearing, and settlement processes for derivatives products
  • Develop and execute risk-based testing programs to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Guangzhou and Shanghai to mitigate identified risks and implement remediation plans
  • Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions for senior management
  • Monitor regulatory changes in futures and options markets and update testing methodologies accordingly
  • Support audit and regulatory examinations by providing evidence of control effectiveness
  • Train and mentor junior team members on compliance testing best practices
  • Analyze data from trading systems to detect anomalies and potential operational risks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, operations risk, or internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of futures and options markets, including regulatory requirements in China and globally
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and compliance testing frameworks
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
