Key Responsibilities

• Lead the real estate due diligence team within JP Morgan Chase's Global Alternative Investments Solutions, overseeing comprehensive assessments of investment opportunities
• Develop and implement due diligence frameworks for real estate assets, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk evaluation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment banking, asset management, and compliance, to support client advisory in alternative investments
• Conduct in-depth reviews of property portfolios, legal structures, and environmental impacts to ensure alignment with JP Morgan's risk tolerance and client objectives
• Mentor and manage a team of analysts, fostering expertise in real estate valuation techniques and regulatory compliance
• Identify emerging trends in global real estate markets and provide strategic insights to senior leadership at JP Morgan Chase
• Oversee the integration of technology and data analytics in due diligence processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure all due diligence activities adhere to JP Morgan's ethical standards, internal policies, and industry regulations
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders, driving informed investment decisions
• Contribute to the development of innovative alternative investment products focused on real estate within JP Morgan's platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Real Estate) preferred
• 10+ years of experience in real estate due diligence, investment analysis, or asset management within the financial services industry
• Proven track record leading due diligence teams in alternative investments, particularly in commercial and residential real estate sectors
• Deep knowledge of real estate markets, valuation methodologies, and regulatory frameworks such as SEC guidelines and Dodd-Frank Act
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment for large-scale real estate portfolios
• Experience in global markets, with a focus on North American and international real estate investments
• CFA, CRE, or similar professional certification in finance or real estate

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership role in a bulge-bracket investment bank or asset management firm like JP Morgan Chase
• Expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) factors in real estate due diligence
• Familiarity with alternative investment vehicles such as REITs, private equity funds, and opportunistic real estate strategies
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools for real estate market forecasting
• Network of industry contacts in real estate development, brokerage, and legal advisory
