Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth interviews, surveys, and usability tests with diverse stakeholders including corporate clients, traders, and relationship managers
  • Analyze user data and behaviors to identify pain points in financial workflows, such as transaction processing and risk management interfaces
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product teams to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations and prototypes
  • Develop research strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring products enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency in global banking

  • Mentor junior researchers and advocate for user-centered design principles within the GB Design Research team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in UX research, with at least 4 years focused on financial services or enterprise software
  • Proven track record of conducting user research in complex, regulated environments like banking and global finance
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing and ethnographic studies
  • Strong understanding of financial products such as investment banking, treasury services, and corporate lending
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in UX Design, Information Science, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a global financial institution, ideally with exposure to international markets
