Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the origination and management of client relationships within the Financial Institutions Group in Taiwan, focusing on banks, insurers, and asset managers
  • Develop and execute strategic coverage plans to expand JP Morgan Chase's market share in the Taiwanese financial services sector
  • Conduct in-depth credit and financial analysis to support lending and advisory mandates for FIG clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists in debt capital markets, trade finance, and treasury services, to deliver tailored solutions
  • Drive business development initiatives, including pitching new mandates and participating in client meetings
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics in Taiwan to inform client strategies
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to build a high-performing FIG team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, with a focus on financial institutions coverage
  • Proven track record in originating and managing relationships with banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Deep knowledge of Taiwan's financial markets, regulatory environment, and economic landscape
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk management, and structured finance products
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed for client meetings and business development

  • Experience working with multinational financial institutions in cross-border transactions
