We are seeking a Fintech Vice President to join our France & Southern Europe team in Paris, where you will play a pivotal role in expanding our coverage of innovative fintech clients across the region. As a Vice President in Global Corporate Banking, you will be at the forefront of engaging with fintech companies in France, Italy, Spain, and other Southern European markets. Your primary focus will be on building and nurturing strategic relationships, originating banking opportunities, and delivering customized solutions such as working capital financing, trade services, and advisory support. You will collaborate closely with J.P. Morgan's product specialists to leverage our global platform, ensuring clients benefit from seamless access to capital markets, treasury management, and risk mitigation tools. This role demands a deep understanding of the fintech landscape, including digital payments, neobanking, and blockchain applications, while navigating the unique regulatory frameworks of the EU. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with fintech clients in France and Southern Europe, identifying opportunities for corporate banking services
  • Originate and execute financing solutions, including loans, trade finance, and advisory services tailored to fintech companies
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan's global teams to provide integrated solutions across capital markets, treasury, and advisory
  • Conduct market analysis on fintech trends in the region to inform client strategies and business development
  • Support due diligence and risk assessment for potential fintech partnerships and investments
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with EU and local financial regulations
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of J.P. Morgan's fintech coverage in Europe
  • Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and reports on fintech sector opportunities
  • Participate in industry events and networking to enhance J.P. Morgan's presence in the regional fintech community

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate banking, fintech, or financial services, with a focus on Europe
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and deal origination in the fintech sector
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments in France and Southern Europe, including PSD2, GDPR, and local banking laws
  • Fluency in English and French; proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or other Southern European languages is advantageous
  • Experience working with cross-border transactions and international fintech partnerships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a bulge-bracket bank or leading fintech firm in Europe
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as blockchain, digital payments, and open banking
  • Existing network of contacts in the French and Southern European fintech ecosystems
