Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients in the innovation economy, including tech firms, startups, and scale-ups in Shanghai and across China
• Originate new business opportunities by identifying client needs and pitching tailored financial solutions such as lending, advisory, and cash management services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at JPMorgan Chase, including investment banking, treasury, and risk management, to deliver integrated solutions
• Conduct market analysis and due diligence on potential clients in high-growth sectors like fintech, AI, and e-commerce
• Manage a portfolio of corporate banking relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies
• Support client acquisition through participation in industry events, networking, and thought leadership in the innovation space
• Prepare credit proposals, financial analyses, and presentations for senior management and client meetings
• Monitor economic trends in the innovation economy to advise clients on strategic financing opportunities
• Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's ethical standards and contribute to team goals in the Global Corporate Banking division
• Mentor junior bankers and contribute to the development of innovative banking products for the tech sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or financial services, with a focus on technology or innovation sectors
• Proven track record in originating and managing client relationships in the innovation economy, such as tech startups, fintech, or high-growth industries
• Strong understanding of financial products including loans, credit facilities, treasury services, and capital markets solutions
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication skills for cross-border dealings
• Relevant licenses or certifications, such as CFA, FRM, or Series 7 equivalent in applicable jurisdictions
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Asia-Pacific markets, particularly in Shanghai or Greater China
• Deep knowledge of the innovation economy ecosystem, including venture capital, AI, biotech, and digital transformation trends
• Prior role at a bulge-bracket bank like JPMorgan Chase or similar, with exposure to global corporate banking
• Network within the tech and innovation startup community in China
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools specific to high-growth sectors
