Your primary focus will be on originating and managing key client relationships, providing bespoke financial advisory services such as structured lending, cash management, and access to capital markets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including our award-winning Investment Banking and Treasury Services groups, to craft holistic strategies that align with clients' innovation-driven goals. In this role, you will analyze market trends, identify emerging opportunities in Singapore's thriving startup ecosystem, and mitigate risks associated with volatile, high-reward sectors—all while adhering to JP Morgan's rigorous standards of integrity, compliance, and client-centric excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Lead client coverage and relationship management for innovation economy clients in the APAC region, focusing on technology, biotech, and fintech sectors
• Develop and execute tailored financial solutions, including lending, treasury services, and capital markets advisory, to support client growth
• Identify and originate new business opportunities within the innovation ecosystem, collaborating with internal teams such as Investment Banking and Commercial Banking
• Provide strategic advice to clients on navigating market trends, funding strategies, and regulatory challenges in Singapore and beyond
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-potential clients, leveraging JP Morgan's global network to deliver comprehensive banking services
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's thought leadership through industry events and whitepapers
• Monitor portfolio performance and mitigate risks associated with high-growth, volatile sectors
• Collaborate with product specialists to innovate banking products suited for the innovation economy
• Represent JP Morgan at industry forums, conferences, and networking events in Singapore to enhance brand visibility
• Ensure all client interactions comply with JP Morgan's risk management and ethical standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or financial services, with a focus on technology, innovation, or high-growth sectors
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development within the Asia-Pacific region
• Deep knowledge of the innovation economy, including startups, venture capital, fintech, and emerging technologies
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments in Singapore and key APAC markets, including compliance with MAS guidelines
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or other regional languages is advantageous
• Ability to travel regionally as needed for client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with JP Morgan Chase or similar global financial institutions in corporate banking
• Prior involvement in funding rounds, M&A advisory, or capital raising for innovation-driven companies
• CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification
• Network within the Singapore tech ecosystem, including connections to venture capitalists and accelerators
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams driving innovation initiatives
