Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Large Cap Coverage team in managing relationships with multinational corporations in the Netherlands and surrounding regions
  • Conduct financial analysis, including modeling, valuation, and credit assessments for large-cap clients
  • Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and market research reports on industry trends
  • Assist in structuring and executing financing solutions, such as loans, capital markets transactions, and advisory services
  • Monitor client portfolios, track performance metrics, and identify cross-selling opportunities within JP Morgan's product suite
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, treasury services, and investment banking
  • Participate in client meetings, due diligence processes, and deal negotiations
  • Stay updated on macroeconomic developments in Europe and their impact on corporate clients
  • Contribute to internal projects aimed at enhancing coverage strategies for the Dutch market
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or financial services
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is highly advantageous
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship or valid work visa)
  • Demonstrated interest in global corporate banking through internships or coursework
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and corporate finance principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, such as Basel III or EMIR
  • Experience with financial modeling or data analysis tools
