Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with mid-cap corporate clients in Taiwan, identifying opportunities for lending, treasury services, and advisory solutions
  • Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of credit facilities, including term loans, revolving credit, and trade finance products
  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments, financial modeling, and due diligence to support lending decisions aligned with JP Morgan's risk appetite
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including credit risk, legal, and product specialists, to deliver comprehensive banking solutions
  • Monitor client portfolios, ensuring compliance with covenants, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow JP Morgan's market share in Taiwan's mid-cap segment
  • Provide market insights and strategic advice to clients on financing trends, capital markets, and economic developments
  • Contribute to the team's performance by mentoring junior bankers and participating in regional strategy discussions
  • Ensure all activities adhere to JP Morgan's ethical standards, anti-money laundering protocols, and data privacy regulations
  • Represent JP Morgan at industry events, client meetings, and regulatory engagements in Taiwan

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate banking, with a focus on mid-cap companies in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Proven track record in originating and managing corporate lending relationships, including credit analysis and deal structuring
  • Strong understanding of Taiwan's financial markets, regulatory environment, and economic landscape
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA, FRM, or local banking licenses
  • Ability to travel within Taiwan and regionally as needed

  • Experience working with multinational corporations or mid-cap firms in manufacturing, technology, or consumer sectors
