As a Vice President in Global Corporate Banking, Mid-Cap, China, based in Beijing, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with mid-cap corporate clients. Your primary focus will be on originating and expanding business in key sectors, leveraging J.P. Morgan's global network to deliver customized solutions such as bilateral loans, syndicated facilities, trade finance, and cash management. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities, perform credit evaluations, and collaborate with internal partners to structure deals that align with client goals and our risk framework. This position requires a strategic mindset to navigate China's unique regulatory landscape while capitalizing on cross-border opportunities with our international teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with mid-cap corporate clients in China, focusing on industries such as manufacturing, technology, and consumer goods
  • Originate new business opportunities by identifying client needs and proposing tailored financial solutions including loans, trade finance, and cash management
  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessments to support lending decisions and portfolio management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists, risk managers, and investment bankers, to deliver integrated banking services
  • Monitor client portfolios, provide ongoing advisory support, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in China
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling JP Morgan's global capabilities in capital markets, treasury services, and advisory
  • Represent JP Morgan Chase at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance the firm's presence in the mid-cap segment
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market trends, client performance, and business development initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's risk management policies and ethical standards in all client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or financial services, with a focus on mid-cap companies
  • Deep knowledge of the Chinese financial market, regulatory environment, and economic landscape
  • Proven track record in originating and managing corporate lending and advisory relationships
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk management, and financial modeling
  • Ability to travel within China and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multinational corporations or cross-border transactions in Asia
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification
  • Prior experience at a leading global bank such as JP Morgan Chase
