Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Subsidiary Banking team in structuring and executing financing solutions for corporate subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on client subsidiaries, including credit assessments and risk evaluations
  • Prepare pitch books, credit memos, and presentation materials for senior management and clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Monitor portfolio performance and assist in ongoing client relationship management
  • Assist in deal origination by identifying potential subsidiary banking opportunities in Hong Kong and surrounding markets
  • Participate in market research to stay abreast of trends in corporate treasury and subsidiary funding
  • Support the development of tailored financing products, such as cash pooling and intercompany loans
  • Contribute to internal reporting and ad-hoc projects related to global corporate banking initiatives
  • Ensure all activities comply with JP Morgan Chase's policies and Hong Kong regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, subsidiary financing, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of international banking regulations and cross-border transactions
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, including Excel and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail
  • Eligibility to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a bulge-bracket bank or multinational financial institution
  • Knowledge of Asian markets, particularly Greater China subsidiary financing
