We are seeking a motivated Analyst to join our Subsidiary Banking Team in Taipei, Taiwan, where you will contribute to supporting the regional subsidiaries of our corporate clients with tailored banking services. In this role, you will work closely with experienced bankers to provide financing, risk management, and advisory services specifically designed for subsidiaries operating in Taiwan. Your responsibilities will include analyzing client financials, structuring subsidiary-specific products like working capital facilities and hedging solutions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations such as those from the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC). Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Subsidiary Banking team in structuring and executing financing solutions for multinational corporate clients' subsidiaries in Taiwan
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on client subsidiaries to assess credit risk and funding needs
  • Collaborate with global relationship managers to develop tailored banking products, including loans, trade finance, and cash management
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes in Taiwan to advise on compliant subsidiary operations
  • Prepare pitch books, credit memos, and presentations for senior management and client meetings
  • Assist in portfolio management, including ongoing monitoring of subsidiary exposures and performance
  • Liaise with internal teams such as risk, compliance, and legal to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities within existing client networks
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to subsidiary optimization and cross-border transactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, subsidiary financing, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English; additional languages such as Cantonese are advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with occasional travel
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Taiwan and cross-border banking
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Prior internship or work experience at a multinational bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Familiarity with subsidiary banking products and treasury management
  • Experience with Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms
  • Certifications such as CFA Level 1 or equivalent
