Key Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of financing solutions for Intra-Asia subsidiaries of China-HQ clients
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on client subsidiaries operating in Hong Kong and other Asian markets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure intra-group loans, trade finance, and cash management products
  • Monitor client portfolios, including risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Prepare pitch materials, credit memos, and presentations for senior management and clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in China-HQ corporates and their Hong Kong-based subsidiaries
  • Assist in market research on Intra-Asia trade flows and economic trends impacting China clients
  • Contribute to deal execution, including documentation and negotiation support
  • Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's risk management policies and KYC/AML procedures
  • Participate in client meetings and business development initiatives to expand the China Desk's footprint

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, subsidiary financing, or cross-border financial services
  • Strong understanding of the Asian financial markets, particularly China and Intra-Asia trade dynamics
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and mainland China for banking operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with global teams
  • Eligibility to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
