Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Japanese subsidiaries of multinational corporations based in the US
  • Provide tailored banking solutions including lending, cash management, trade finance, and advisory services
  • Conduct credit analysis and risk assessments for client portfolios to ensure compliance with JPMorgan's risk standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across JPMorgan's global network to deliver integrated financial services
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within the subsidiary banking segment
  • Monitor market trends in Japan and advise clients on strategic financial decisions
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in both US and Japanese jurisdictions
  • Prepare client presentations, proposals, and reports to support business development efforts
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team initiatives in the Global Corporate Banking division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate banking, subsidiary banking, or financial services with a focus on international clients
  • Proven track record in managing relationships with multinational corporations and their Japanese subsidiaries
  • Strong understanding of Japanese financial markets, regulatory environment, and cross-border banking practices
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (business level proficiency in both speaking and writing)
  • Experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and structuring financing solutions for corporate clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in Japan or with Japanese financial institutions

  • CFA, CPA, or similar professional certification
