Your responsibilities will include originating new banking relationships, providing tailored financial solutions such as working capital facilities, acquisition finance, and capital markets access for VC portfolio companies, and delivering actionable insights on market trends. This position requires a deep understanding of the startup landscape, from early-stage funding rounds to growth equity, and the ability to navigate the unique challenges of high-growth tech, biotech, and fintech ventures prevalent in the DACH region. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with venture capital firms and investors in the DACH region
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate banking services for VC-backed companies
  • Advise clients on financing solutions, including debt, equity, and advisory services tailored to venture capital needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at JPMorgan Chase to deliver integrated banking products
  • Conduct market analysis and provide insights on VC trends, investment landscapes, and economic factors in DACH
  • Support portfolio companies of VC clients with banking solutions to facilitate growth and scaling
  • Participate in industry events, networking, and thought leadership to enhance JPMorgan's presence in the VC space
  • Ensure compliance with internal risk management and regulatory standards in all client interactions
  • Prepare pitch materials, client reports, and presentations to drive deal origination and execution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, or corporate banking within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Strong understanding of venture capital ecosystems, startup funding, and private equity dynamics
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages such as French or Italian are advantageous
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA or equivalent in financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with high-growth tech and innovation sectors in Europe
  • Prior roles at a bulge-bracket bank or leading VC firm in the DACH area
