Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage cash equities trades for institutional clients, focusing on CRB strategies to optimize execution and minimize market impact
  • Develop and refine algorithmic trading models for European and global equity markets, leveraging JP Morgan's proprietary technology platforms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing tailored trading solutions and market insights
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, liquidity, and volatility to inform trading decisions and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with sales, research, and quant teams to enhance product offerings in the Global Equities franchise
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including real-time trade surveillance
  • Contribute to the innovation of electronic trading tools, including low-latency execution and smart order routing
  • Manage trading P&L, performance metrics, and post-trade analysis to drive continuous improvement
  • Mentor junior traders and support team development within the Paris trading floor

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cash equities trading, with a focus on client relationship business (CRB) within a major investment bank
  • Proven track record in electronic and algorithmic trading strategies for global equities markets
  • Deep understanding of European equity markets, including regulatory frameworks like MiFID II and ESMA guidelines
  • Strong proficiency in risk management and compliance within high-volume trading environments
  • Experience with trading systems and platforms such as Bloomberg, FIX protocol, and proprietary algo tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7 or equivalent FINRA-equivalent certifications, or willingness to obtain
  • Prior experience at a bulge-bracket firm like JP Morgan Chase in Global Markets
