Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control liquidity positions across global equities trading desks to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory limits
  • Develop and implement liquidity stress testing scenarios for equities portfolios
  • Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and finance teams to optimize liquidity usage and mitigate risks
  • Analyze intraday and end-of-day liquidity metrics, reporting variances and recommending corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of liquidity exposures and ensure adherence to JP Morgan's risk policies
  • Support regulatory reporting for liquidity requirements in equities markets
  • Enhance liquidity control frameworks by integrating new trading strategies and products
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of liquidity processes to identify improvements
  • Provide real-time liquidity insights to senior management during market volatility
  • Liaise with global teams to align liquidity controls across regions including EMEA, Americas, and APAC

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial controls, liquidity management, or risk in equities trading
  • Strong understanding of global equities markets and trading instruments
  • Proficiency in financial regulations such as MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, and EMIR
  • Experience with liquidity risk frameworks in a banking or investment context
  • ACCA, CFA, or equivalent certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes trading environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or related discipline
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of automated trading systems and algorithmic trading
