Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement margin trading strategies to enhance decision-making and optimize risk-adjusted returns for global equities clients
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on client portfolios, ensuring compliance with internal JP Morgan Chase policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with trading desks, sales teams, and risk management to structure financing solutions in prime financial services
• Monitor market conditions in Asia-Pacific equities to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks
• Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for portfolio optimization
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal compliance teams to maintain adherence to margin requirements
• Support client onboarding and ongoing relationship management in the Hong Kong office
• Utilize advanced analytics tools to model scenarios and forecast margin impacts on trading activities
• Contribute to the development of innovative products in global equities margin trading
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence within the Prime Financial Services group

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in equities trading, margin financing, or prime brokerage within a global financial institution
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements for margin trading, including Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and HKMA guidelines
• Proven track record in risk management and optimizing risk-adjusted returns in equities markets
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
• Experience in the Asia-Pacific equities market, particularly in Hong Kong
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes trading environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA charterholder or FRM certification
• Prior experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading and electronic execution platforms
• Mandarin or Cantonese language proficiency for regional stakeholder engagement
• History of leading cross-functional teams in prime services
