Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of J.P. Morgan Asset Management's global design system to ensure consistent, innovative digital experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to define and implement design principles, components, and guidelines tailored to asset management needs
• Drive innovation in user experience for client-facing tools, including investment dashboards and portfolio management interfaces, while adhering to financial industry standards
• Conduct user research and gather feedback from asset management stakeholders to refine the design system and enhance web excellence
• Oversee the maintenance and documentation of the design system library, ensuring scalability and compliance with accessibility and security protocols in finance
• Partner with global teams in London and other hubs to align design initiatives with J.P. Morgan's broader digital strategy
• Mentor junior designers and product managers on design system best practices and foster a culture of design innovation
• Analyze performance metrics of digital experiences to iterate on the design system, optimizing for user engagement and regulatory adherence
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote adoption of the design system across Asset Management product lines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with a focus on design systems or digital experience design in financial services
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in developing and maintaining design systems for web and mobile platforms
• Deep understanding of asset management digital tools, including client portals, investment platforms, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration with engineering, design, and stakeholder teams in a global financial institution
• Strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and design tools in a high-stakes financial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Design/UX) with emphasis on financial technology
• Experience at a top-tier financial institution like J.P. Morgan Chase, managing design systems for asset management products
• Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for design system governance
• Prior work on scalable design systems that support global regulatory frameworks in finance
