Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation, modeling, and scenario planning for client transactions
  • Support senior bankers in pitching and executing M&A deals, IPOs, and capital raising activities in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients in industries such as technology, healthcare, and consumer goods
  • Prepare detailed pitch books, teasers, and confidential information memorandums (CIMs) for potential deals
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and product specialists, to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes in Hong Kong and Greater China
  • Participate in client meetings, roadshows, and negotiations to drive transaction success
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding coverage
  • Ensure all work complies with JP Morgan's risk management and ethical standards
  • Mentor junior analysts and support team training initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a top-tier university
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred, with strong academic performance
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or related financial services roles
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold or pursuing relevant financial certifications such as CFA Level 1 or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Legal authorization to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship
