Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Investment Banking (GIB) Australia team in executing the regional Financial and Business Management (F&BM) agenda, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, variance analyses, and management presentations for senior leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business strategies, risk management, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive decision-making in investment banking operations
  • Coordinate with regional stakeholders to support deal execution, client engagements, and market analysis
  • Manage administrative tasks such as expense tracking, resource allocation, and compliance documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements and technology implementations to enhance business management workflows
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to GIB's expansion in Australia and APAC, including market research and competitive analysis
  • Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial services, or business management
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment banking products, and regulatory environment in Australia and Asia-Pacific
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for financial modeling and presentations
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; additional languages such as Mandarin or Japanese are advantageous
  • Eligibility to work in Australia without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a financial business management or operations role within a global bank
  • Knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
  • MBA or advanced certification such as CFA Level 1
