Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, and convertible bonds
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support pitch books and client presentations
  • Perform market research on industry trends, comparable companies, and valuation metrics
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to prepare marketing materials and roadshow decks
  • Support due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, compliance, and internal teams
  • Monitor regulatory developments in Hong Kong and Greater China ECM markets
  • Contribute to client interactions and deal negotiations under supervision
  • Analyze equity offerings and provide insights on pricing and timing strategies
  • Maintain deal databases and ensure accurate reporting to management
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to business development initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a top-tier university
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity capital markets, or financial services
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel
  • Eligibility to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous
  • Demonstrated interest in capital markets through internships or coursework

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank
  • CFA Level 1 candidate or completion
  • Experience with equity research or M&A transactions
  • Knowledge of Asian capital markets and regulatory environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg or Capital IQ
