Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports for the Global Rates product line
  • Ensure accurate P&L attribution, balance sheet reconciliation, and variance analysis for rates trading activities
  • Monitor compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and internal controls at JP Morgan Chase
  • Collaborate with front-office traders, middle-office risk teams, and back-office operations to validate financial data
  • Develop and implement enhancements to reporting processes and financial controls
  • Support internal and external audits, providing detailed documentation and explanations
  • Analyze market data and product performance to identify risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the Global Rates portfolio
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of accuracy and accountability
  • Stay updated on evolving regulations and industry best practices in rates products

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling, product control, or management reporting within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX, Basel III, and IFRS for global banking operations
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in rates products including interest rate swaps, futures, and options

  • Advanced degree (MBA) in Finance or Accounting
