  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for global real estate projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis for real estate assets
  • Manage a team of accountants and analysts, providing guidance on complex accounting issues related to leases, construction, and asset management
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards specific to JP Morgan Chase's financial reporting
  • Collaborate with global real estate teams, treasury, and external auditors to support project financing and reporting needs
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in project accounting workflows
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics for real estate portfolios, including ROI, cap rates, and budget variances

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, with at least 5 years in real estate or project accounting within a large financial institution
  • Proven track record in leading financial close processes and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting standards
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a global environment, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance, including project budgeting, capitalization, and depreciation
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex financial reporting for multi-entity structures

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Accounting) or additional certifications like CMA or CFA
