Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative analysis of global emerging markets to inform fixed income strategy recommendations

  • Collaborate with the Emerging Markets Fixed Income Strategy team to produce research reports and insights
  • Monitor and forecast key indicators such as interest rates, inflation, and geopolitical risks in EM regions
  • Present strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients at JP Morgan Chase
  • Utilize data analytics tools to identify investment opportunities and risks in fixed income markets
  • Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, including market outlooks and whitepapers
  • Support senior strategists in client interactions and advisory services for institutional investors
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market developments affecting emerging markets
  • Assist in training junior team members and fostering a culture of innovation in research practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in emerging markets fixed income strategy, research, or related quantitative analysis roles
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative modeling and data analysis, with experience in financial markets
  • In-depth knowledge of global emerging markets, including macroeconomic trends and fixed income instruments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment in the financial services industry
