Reporting to the Head of Commodities Research, you will work from our state-of-the-art office in New York, NY, collaborating with a diverse team of analysts, traders, and strategists to deliver actionable intelligence that informs client decisions and internal strategies in the dynamic energy sector. Your primary focus will be on analyzing key aspects of the U.S. natural gas landscape, including production trends in major basins like Permian and Haynesville, LNG export dynamics, and the interplay with global energy markets. You will develop proprietary models to forecast prices, assess supply disruptions, and evaluate the impact of policy shifts such as carbon pricing or infrastructure expansions. By producing insightful reports and engaging directly with institutional clients—ranging from energy majors to investment funds—you will enhance JPMorgan's reputation as a trusted advisor in commodities.
