We are seeking a Vice President to join our Vulnerable Adult Investigations Team in Tempe, AZ, to drive impactful investigations that protect those most at risk in the financial ecosystem. In this role, you will spearhead complex investigations into financial abuse targeting vulnerable populations, such as elderly clients or those with cognitive impairments, within JP Morgan Chase's vast network of banking services. Your work will involve dissecting suspicious transactions, coordinating with internal compliance and legal teams, and partnering with external authorities to prevent and mitigate harm. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive investigations into suspected financial exploitation of vulnerable adults, including seniors and individuals with disabilities
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to gather evidence and build cases
  • Analyze financial transactions and patterns to identify fraudulent activities within JP Morgan Chase's global operations
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management and compliance teams
  • Develop and implement training programs on recognizing and preventing vulnerable adult exploitation
  • Monitor emerging threats and trends in financial crimes targeting vulnerable populations
  • Ensure all investigations comply with JP Morgan Chase's policies and applicable laws
  • Liaise with external partners, such as Adult Protective Services, to support victim recovery efforts
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to enhance investigation efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Global Security's protocols for vulnerable adult protection

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in investigations, particularly involving vulnerable adults or financial exploitation
  • Proven track record in conducting thorough investigations in a financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as FINRA, SEC, and elder financial abuse laws
  • Experience with case management systems and digital forensic tools
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and background checks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction
