Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior sales professionals in pitching short-duration fixed income products to institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, and corporations
  • Conduct market analysis and prepare customized sales materials, such as presentations and reports on short-duration strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients in the Midwest region, focusing on Chicago-based institutions
  • Monitor global market trends in short-duration instruments and provide timely insights to the sales team and clients
  • Collaborate with trading and research teams at JP Morgan Chase to develop innovative short-duration solutions
  • Assist in the execution of sales transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Track sales performance metrics and contribute to quarterly business reviews for the Global Short Duration team
  • Participate in client meetings, roadshows, and industry conferences to promote JP Morgan's fixed income offerings
  • Analyze client portfolios to identify opportunities for short-duration investments that align with risk and return objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial sales, fixed income markets, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of short-duration fixed income products, including money market instruments, commercial paper, and certificates of deposit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with institutional clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on client-centric solutions
  • U.S. work authorization and willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations
  • Experience in global markets or cross-border sales within a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal or similar financial data platforms
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
