Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of complex credit structuring products, including bespoke derivatives and structured notes tailored to client needs
  • Drive platform innovation by integrating advanced analytics and technology to enhance structuring efficiency and risk management
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all structures adhere to global regulatory standards and mitigate legal risks
  • Provide expert advisory on credit market trends, pricing models, and hedging strategies to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Oversee the structuring of credit-linked transactions, including collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) and credit default swaps (CDS)
  • Mentor junior structurers and contribute to talent development within JP Morgan's Global Markets division
  • Analyze market data and regulatory changes to innovate product offerings that align with JP Morgan's risk appetite
  • Engage with sales and trading teams to originate and execute structured credit deals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance, or PhD) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in credit structuring, derivatives, or structured finance within investment banking or financial services
  • Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks including Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, and Basel III
  • Proven track record in leading product development and innovation in credit markets
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment
  • Experience working in a global trading environment, preferably in London or similar financial hubs
