Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and operations of the IFSC Banking Unit in GIFT City, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's global objectives
  • Oversee the delivery of banking services including corporate lending, trade finance, and treasury solutions to clients in the IFSC ecosystem
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations, including IFSC-specific rules and JP Morgan's risk management standards

  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities with multinational corporations, NRIs, and institutional investors

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in banking, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within international financial services
  • Deep knowledge of IFSC regulations, GIFT City framework, and compliance with RBI and SEBI guidelines
  • Proven track record in establishing and leading banking units in offshore financial centers
  • Strong understanding of cross-border banking products, including trade finance, treasury, and wealth management
  • Experience in risk management, anti-money laundering (AML), and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols in a global banking environment
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati is advantageous
