Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the National ABL Team within JPMorgan Chase's Commercial Bank, overseeing strategy, operations, and performance to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and execute ABL business plans aligned with the Commercial Bank's overall objectives, targeting middle-market clients
  • Manage risk assessment and credit underwriting for ABL facilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, sponsors, and internal stakeholders to expand ABL portfolio
  • Oversee portfolio monitoring, including field examinations, collateral valuations, and covenant compliance

  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting diversity and inclusion within the group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in asset-based lending (ABL) within the commercial banking sector
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in financial services, with direct P&L responsibility
  • Deep expertise in ABL structures, including inventory, accounts receivable, and collateral management
  • Strong regulatory knowledge of banking laws, including Basel III and Dodd-Frank, applicable to ABL operations
  • Experience managing national or regional lending portfolios exceeding $1B in assets
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and client acquisition in competitive markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership role in a major financial institution's commercial banking division
  • Certification in credit analysis or risk management (e.g., CFA, CRMP)
