Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the AI/ML strategy for the APAC region within JPMorgan Chase’s Chief Data & Analytics Office, aligning with global objectives and local market needs
  • Lead enablement initiatives to empower business units with AI/ML capabilities, including training programs, toolkits, and best practices tailored to financial services
  • Foster innovation by identifying emerging AI/ML trends and piloting solutions to drive efficiency in areas like risk management, fraud detection, and customer personalization
  • Collaborate with APAC business leaders, technology teams, and global stakeholders to integrate AI/ML into core banking operations
  • Oversee governance and ethical AI practices, ensuring compliance with JPMorgan Chase policies and APAC regulatory requirements
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of AI/ML experts, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML strategy, enablement, and implementation within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in delivering AI/ML solutions at scale in a regional or global context
  • Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies, including machine learning frameworks, generative AI, and data analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in financial services, particularly in APAC markets
  • Experience in stakeholder management at executive levels within multinational organizations
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other APAC languages is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a leadership role within a Chief Data & Analytics Office or similar function at a major financial institution
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML enablement programs, including training, tooling, and governance frameworks
