Key Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of testing professionals to design, execute, and report on compliance and operational risk testing programs for Consumer and Community Banking (CCB)
• Oversee the evaluation of internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management standards and regulatory requirements
• Influence and shape the organization's risk culture by promoting proactive testing practices and fostering accountability across CCB business lines
• Develop and implement strategic testing methodologies, including risk-based sampling and advanced analytics, to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with senior executives, business leaders, and control functions to prioritize testing efforts and address emerging risks in consumer banking products like deposits, lending, and payments
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure testing programs align with evolving standards from bodies like the OCC and CFPB
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and coverage
• Report testing outcomes, findings, and remediation progress to executive leadership and the firm's Risk Committee

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or JD) preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or internal audit within the financial services industry
• Proven track record of leading global teams in risk testing and control evaluation at a senior level (e.g., Director or equivalent)
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as OCC, FDIC, CFPB, and Basel III requirements applicable to consumer banking
• Experience in developing and implementing testing methodologies for compliance and operational risks in a large-scale banking environment
• Strong leadership experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change in risk management practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), or equivalent certification
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, with focus on consumer and community banking
