Key Responsibilities

  • Support hedge fund clients by providing timely and accurate servicing solutions to help them achieve investment outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, and sales to deliver seamless customer experiences
  • Manage client onboarding processes, including documentation, KYC/AML checks, and account setup
  • Prepare and review investor reports, NAV calculations, and performance analytics for hedge funds
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues related to fund administration, reconciliations, and trade settlements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal JP Morgan policies in all client interactions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and drive additional business within the hedge fund services portfolio
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline hedge fund servicing operations
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to clients on how they impact hedge fund strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and training to continuously develop skills in financial services

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in hedge fund administration or asset management
  • Strong understanding of hedge fund operations, including fund accounting, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, Charles River, or similar platforms
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
  • Canadian residency or work authorization required for Toronto location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA Level 1 or CAIA
  • Experience with alternative investments and hedge fund servicing at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with Canadian securities regulations (e.g., NI 81-102) and global standards like AIFMD
  • Prior exposure to client-facing roles in asset servicing or custody services
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
