Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily trade execution and settlement for hedge fund clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform trade reconciliation, break resolution, and exception handling across multiple asset classes
  • Collaborate with trading desks, operations teams, and clients to resolve discrepancies and optimize processes
  • Monitor and report on trade lifecycle events, including confirmations, allocations, and regulatory filings
  • Assist in implementing new trading protocols and system enhancements for hedge fund operations
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on trade data to mitigate operational risks
  • Provide analytical support for hedge fund performance reporting and ad-hoc queries
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations in all trade support activities
  • Liaise with technology teams to troubleshoot system issues impacting trade support

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade support, operations, or a similar role within financial services
  • Strong understanding of hedge fund structures, derivatives, and securities trading
  • Proficiency in financial markets and regulatory requirements such as MiFID II and EMIR
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle complex trade data
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA Level 1 or Series 7 (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with hedge funds or asset management firms
  • Knowledge of JP Morgan's internal systems and trade processing platforms
  • Advanced degree or MBA in Finance
