  • Oversee the assessment and mitigation of IAM-related risks, including access provisioning, role-based access control, and privileged access management
  • Drive the implementation of IAM policies and procedures to support secure digital transformation initiatives in the financial services sector
  • Partner with audit, compliance, and business stakeholders to validate control effectiveness and address findings from regulatory reviews
  • Mentor and lead a team of IAM control specialists, fostering a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in identity and access management (IAM), risk management, or technology controls within the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership experience in directing teams focused on standards development and control implementation for IAM domains
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation, and FFIEC guidelines relevant to financial institutions
  • Experience in developing and maintaining control objectives, policies, and standards for enterprise-wide IAM systems
  • Strong understanding of IAM technologies including authentication, authorization, privileged access management, and identity governance
