Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain managed file transfer infrastructure to support secure data exchange across JPMorgan Chase's global operations
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable engineering solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Monitor and optimize file transfer systems for performance, reliability, and security, ensuring minimal downtime for critical financial transactions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues related to file transfers, including integration with core banking systems
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline file transfer processes and reduce manual interventions
• Conduct security assessments and implement controls to protect sensitive financial data during transfers
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 availability of infrastructure services
• Document engineering designs, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry standards for file transfer in financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on file transfer systems
• Strong understanding of managed file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and AS2
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Knowledge of security best practices in financial services, including compliance with regulations like SOX and PCI-DSS
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise file transfer solutions like IBM Sterling File Gateway or Axway SecureTransport
