As an Infrastructure Engineer III specializing in Python, AWS, and Terraform, you will join our Infrastructure Engineering team in Bengaluru, India, to build and optimize cloud-based infrastructure that supports critical financial services, from high-frequency trading systems to secure data analytics for risk assessment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in software development and technical processes to design resilient, scalable infrastructures across multiple applications. You will automate complex workflows using Python, provision resources efficiently with Terraform on AWS, and ensure seamless integration with JP Morgan's proprietary financial tools. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Python, AWS, and Terraform to support JP Morgan Chase's financial applications
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning to ensure reliability and efficiency in trading and banking systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with core banking platforms and risk management tools
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls in cloud environments to protect sensitive financial data
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial services
• Optimize AWS resources for cost-efficiency while maintaining high performance for global transaction processing
• Contribute to infrastructure standards and documentation for JP Morgan's technology ecosystem
• Monitor and analyze system performance, proactively identifying improvements for scalability in high-volume financial operations
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on IaC principles and cloud architecture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud environments
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, and Lambda
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementation
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries, understanding compliance requirements like GDPR and SOX
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior work in agile methodologies within large-scale financial institutions
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Prometheus
