Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with hedge funds and asset managers to drive interest rate product sales
• Provide tailored market insights and trading ideas on interest rate derivatives to clients
• Collaborate with trading and research teams to execute client orders efficiently
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and central bank policies affecting interest rates
• Prepare sales pitches, presentations, and reports to support client decision-making
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth in the fixed income division
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards in all client interactions
• Support senior team members in pitching complex structured interest rate solutions
• Analyze client portfolios to recommend hedging strategies using JP Morgan's rate products
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in financial sales, trading, or related roles within the capital markets
• Strong understanding of interest rate products, including swaps, futures, and options
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions
• Proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with hedge funds or asset managers in interest rate markets
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA
• Prior internship or role at a major investment bank such as JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in fixed income sales (e.g., Dodd-Frank, MiFID II)
• Fluency in additional languages for international client engagement
