Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust governance and control framework for JP Morgan Chase's International Consumer Bank (ICB) operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations
• Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks in consumer banking products and services across international markets
• Oversee the implementation of control measures to prevent financial crimes, operational errors, and regulatory non-compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and business units to enhance control processes
• Conduct regular audits, testing, and reporting on the effectiveness of governance controls within ICB
• Monitor emerging regulatory changes and advise senior management on their impact to consumer banking strategies
• Facilitate training programs for ICB staff on governance, risk management, and control best practices
• Prepare and present governance control reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders at JP Morgan Chase
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in control processes to support efficient and secure international consumer banking operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in governance, risk, and control functions within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in managing compliance and control frameworks for consumer banking operations
• Strong understanding of international regulatory requirements, including UK FCA and EU directives relevant to consumer banking
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and control testing in a global banking environment
• Professional certification such as CRISC, CISA, or equivalent in risk and control management

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
