Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on Hong Kong equities, fixed income, and alternative assets to support client portfolios
• Assist in developing tailored investment strategies for high-net-worth clients in the International Private Bank
• Support relationship managers in client meetings, preparing pitch books, and delivering financial advisory services
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates on market trends affecting Hong Kong and Greater China investments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, and product specialists to ensure regulatory adherence
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Hong Kong market, contributing to revenue growth
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on economic indicators, geopolitical risks, and investment opportunities
• Assist in risk assessment and due diligence for client onboarding and ongoing account management
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials and client communications specific to the Asian private banking sector
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong financial markets, regulatory environment, and cross-border investment products
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous
• Ability to obtain relevant licensing such as SFC licenses for dealing in securities and advising on securities
• Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and market analysis
• Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or work experience at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of alternative investments and offshore banking structures relevant to high-net-worth individuals in Asia
• Experience with client relationship management systems such as Salesforce or similar CRM tools
• Advanced certification such as CFA Level 1 or equivalent in wealth management
• Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing trends in the Hong Kong market
