Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Chinese ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, providing tailored advisory services through JP Morgan's Asia Private Bank
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Chinese UHNW segment, leveraging JP Morgan's global platform to deliver integrated wealth solutions
• Advise clients on investment strategies, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and sustainable investing options aligned with JP Morgan's expertise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment specialists, tax advisors, and estate planners, to create comprehensive wealth management plans
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong and international regulatory standards, conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments
• Monitor client portfolios and market trends, delivering proactive insights and recommendations to optimize returns and mitigate risks
• Participate in client events, seminars, and networking activities to enhance JP Morgan's presence in the Chinese UHNW community
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the International Private Bank in Asia, reporting on key performance metrics and client feedback
• Support family governance and succession planning for multi-generational UHNW families
• Utilize JP Morgan's proprietary tools and research to provide data-driven advice on global economic impacts on Chinese assets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or client advisory roles serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals
• Proven track record in managing relationships with Chinese UHNW clients and families, with deep knowledge of cross-border wealth planning
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and mainland China, including AML/KYC compliance
• Fluency in Mandarin and English; Cantonese proficiency is advantageous
• Series 7 or equivalent licensing, or willingness to obtain relevant financial certifications
• Extensive network within the Chinese UHNW community in Asia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international private banks or global financial institutions like JP Morgan Chase
• CFA, CFP, or similar professional certifications in wealth management
• Prior exposure to family office advisory services and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies
• Knowledge of alternative investments and offshore structuring for Asian clients
• Demonstrated success in revenue generation and portfolio growth in the Asia-Pacific region
