Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of relationship managers focused on professionals in the China market, driving performance and client satisfaction
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow the client portfolio in the International Private Bank, targeting high-net-worth professionals from China
  • Oversee client relationship management, ensuring tailored wealth management solutions including investment advisory, lending, and estate planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across JP Morgan Chase to deliver integrated financial services, such as global market access and offshore banking
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong, China, and international standards, mitigating risks in cross-border transactions
  • Analyze market trends in Greater China to identify opportunities for client acquisition and retention

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly with China-focused client segments
  • Deep knowledge of international banking regulations, including those specific to Hong Kong and Mainland China
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English; Cantonese a plus
  • Strong understanding of cross-border wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and professionals
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent in financial planning
