Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive credit assessments and risk analyses for complex, multi-jurisdictional portfolios
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan's global teams to deliver integrated banking, investment, and advisory services
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-profile clients in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region
  • Structure and negotiate credit facilities, such as margin loans, acquisition finance, and real estate lending
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including KYC, AML, and FATCA requirements
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide proactive advice on credit optimization and risk mitigation
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for cross-selling JP Morgan's wealth management products
  • Mentor junior team members and support the Hong Kong team's growth in UHNW lending

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in private banking, credit advisory, or lending within the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) segment
  • Proven track record in structuring complex credit solutions for international clients, including cross-border financing
  • Deep knowledge of Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific regulatory frameworks, including HKMA guidelines and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements
  • Strong understanding of global capital markets, syndicated loans, and structured finance products
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese, with excellent communication skills for high-stakes client interactions
