Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of M&A transactions for technology clients, from initial pitch to deal closure
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives in the technology industry
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation, due diligence, and scenario modeling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and product specialists at JP Morgan Chase
  • Prepare pitch books, teasers, and other marketing materials tailored to technology sector opportunities
  • Advise clients on strategic M&A opportunities, synergies, and integration post-merger
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes in technology to identify potential deals
  • Mentor junior bankers and contribute to team development within the M&A group
  • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase's risk management standards
  • Participate in business development efforts to expand JP Morgan Chase's technology client portfolio

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions in the technology sector
  • Proven track record of executing M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, structuring, and closing
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market dynamics in technology industries
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience managing client relationships at senior levels
