Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions, IPOs, and debt/equity financings in the business services industry
  • Prepare pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and client presentations
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis on business services companies
  • Assist in due diligence processes for potential deals, including reviewing financial statements and industry trends
  • Coordinate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to execute transactions
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients in the business services sector
  • Monitor market developments and regulatory changes impacting the industry
  • Support the development of sector-specific coverage strategies
  • Contribute to internal reports and thought leadership on business services trends
  • Participate in business development activities, including pitching new mandates

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or a related field
  • Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking at a bulge-bracket firm
  • Knowledge of the business services sector, including industrials, consumer services, and professional services
  • Advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in Finance
  • Experience with deal execution in M&A or capital markets
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to international clients
