Key Responsibilities

  • Execute financial analyses, including building complex models for valuation, LBO, and merger scenarios
  • Support senior bankers in pitching and winning new business from business services clients
  • Conduct due diligence and market research on target companies and sectors
  • Prepare pitch books, teasers, and other marketing materials for M&A and financing deals
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and product specialists
  • Manage client relationships and provide ongoing advisory support post-transaction
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking to expand the franchise
  • Assist in deal structuring and negotiation processes
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes in business services
  • Contribute to team initiatives for franchise growth and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or business services sector
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
  • Proven track record in deal execution within the business services industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in M&A transactions or capital markets advisory for business services clients
  • Prior internship or role at a bulge-bracket investment bank
  • Knowledge of industry-specific trends in business services, such as consulting, outsourcing, or professional services
  • Fluency in financial software tools like Bloomberg or Capital IQ
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
