Key Responsibilities

  • Execute M&A transactions, equity offerings, and debt financings for technology clients in EMEA
  • Conduct financial analysis, including building complex models for valuation and scenario planning
  • Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials tailored to tech sector deals
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to develop business opportunities and manage client relationships
  • Perform due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis on technology companies
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and product specialists
  • Support origination efforts by identifying potential deals in software, SaaS, AI, and digital media
  • Monitor market trends in EMEA tech landscape and provide insights to clients and internal teams
  • Assist in mentoring junior analysts and contributing to team knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in all advisory activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, preferably in technology sector coverage within EMEA
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, French) highly advantageous
  • Proven track record in deal execution, including M&A, IPOs, and financing transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, with relevant visa status if applicable

  • Experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank or boutique advisory firm focused on technology
  • Knowledge of EMEA regulatory environment and cross-border transaction complexities
  • CFA or equivalent certification in progress or completed
