Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books, marketing materials, and presentations for equity capital markets transactions
  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis for equity offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, and convertible securities
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to support client advisory on equity financing strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, trading, and research, to execute equity transactions
  • Prepare due diligence materials and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for capital markets deals
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings, roadshows, and negotiations for equity issuances
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and execution of equity deals to provide real-time insights
  • Contribute to deal structuring and pricing recommendations for equity capital raises
  • Maintain databases of market data, transaction histories, and client information
  • Collaborate on cross-border equity transactions involving international markets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity capital markets, or a related financial services role
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and equity research
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases such as Bloomberg or Capital IQ
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or full-time experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank
  • Series 7 and/or Series 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
  • Experience with equity offerings, IPOs, or follow-on equity issuances
  • Advanced knowledge of SEC regulations and capital markets compliance
  • MBA or progress toward CFA designation
