Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for clients in the Financial Institutions Group, including valuation of banks, insurers, and fintech firms
  • Assist in preparing pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and presentation materials for senior management and client meetings
  • Perform due diligence on potential mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions within the financial services sector
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute deals, including equity and debt offerings for financial institutions
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes impacting financial institutions
  • Support senior bankers in client interactions, research, and deal structuring
  • Contribute to internal reports and analyses on sector performance and investment opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's risk management and ethical standards in all advisory activities
  • Participate in business development efforts to identify and pursue new client opportunities in the FIG space

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, and asset managers
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Excellent academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or full-time experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
