In this position, you will support senior bankers in all aspects of deal execution, from initial pitch development to closing. Responsibilities include building sophisticated financial models to value financial institutions, conducting market and competitive analysis, and preparing compelling presentation materials for client engagements. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for clients in the Financial Institutions Group, including valuation of banks, insurers, and fintech firms
• Assist in preparing pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and presentation materials for senior management and client meetings
• Perform due diligence on potential mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions within the financial services sector
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute deals, including equity and debt offerings for financial institutions
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes impacting financial institutions
• Support senior bankers in client interactions, research, and deal structuring
• Contribute to internal reports and analyses on sector performance and investment opportunities
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's risk management and ethical standards in all advisory activities
• Participate in business development efforts to identify and pursue new client opportunities in the FIG space

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, and asset managers
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis
• Excellent academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or full-time experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting financial institutions (e.g., Dodd-Frank, Basel III)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases such as Bloomberg or Capital IQ
• MBA or progress toward CFA/CPA certification
• Experience in M&A transactions involving financial institutions
